Please find below brief descriptions of each service offered and the different appointment types available, including what to expect in each session.

A 10% discount is offered for holders of a Health Care Card or Pensioner's Card and full time students. The card will need to be cited for the discount to apply.

Dr Camille Mucha is a registered provider for WorkSafe & TAC.

She can also provide Private Health rebates on the spot (if your Private Health plan includes Acupuncture and/or Herbs). The rebate amount is determined by your Private Health fund.

Home visits are available depending on the circumstances and are offered on a case-by-case basis. Please Get In Touch if this is something you are interested in.

Initial Acupuncture Appointment

90mins

For patients who have never been treated at Beating Heart Health or who have not had an appointment for 1 year or more.

This session includes an initial consult as well as a treatment.

You are able to receive up to two of the following treatment techniques. The most applicable techniques for each patient will be discussed in the appointment:

Acupuncture
Tailored Herbal Medicine Prescription
Cupping
Gua Sha

Follow Up Acupuncture Appointment

For those who have already had an appointment.

This session includes a follow up consult to check on your progress, as well as a treatment.

You are able to receive up to two of the following treatment techniques. The most applicable treatment techniques for each patient will be discussed in the appointment:

Acupuncture
Tailored Herbal Medicine Prescription
Cupping
Gua Sha

Initial Herbal Appointment

50mins

For patients who have never received a Herbal Prescription from Beating Heart Health and don't require any hands-on treatment.

This session includes an initial consult, after which you will receive a personally tailored Herbal Prescription.

Follow Up Herbal Appointment

40mins

For patients who have already received a Herbal Prescription and require a another. This session also allows for a consult where your progress and response to the previous prescription is assessed so that any adjustments may be made, if necessary, before the script is made up for you.

This session includes no hands-on treatment.

In some situations, if your prescription requires no adjustments it may be re-filled without a consult, however, this may not always be possible. This is only if they have received a prescription from Beating Heart Health within the last 2-3 months and is on a case-by-case basis.

Ancillary Techniques Appointment

For patients who want no Acupuncture or Herbal Prescription, only ancillary techniques such as Cupping or Gua Sha.

Telehealth

20mins

This session is for patients who have been to the clinic before and allows for a quick check-in if you are too unwell to come in for a session in person.

You will have a quick consult and the practitioner may prescribe herbs and/or provide diet or lifestyle advice.

A Note on Herbal Prescriptions:

All tailored herbal prescriptions, no matter which session is attended, are charged in addition to the cost of the session itself.
